Details: Taking inspiration from the trove of design treasures within the archive the design studio presents Hammersmith Woven Stripe. Inspired by the framing border of a Morris & Co. carpet woven at Merton Abbey in 1883 this design is new from Morris & Co. reflecting the creative ingenuity of William Morris and his contemporaries and revealing a decorative stripe to add to our drawing board.
