Details: These exceptional Llama throws are meticulously handcrafted in northern Argentina from locally sourced fibres. The Llamas are not shorn until they are three years old. One fleece from one animal each year creates just one throw. Each is completely natural and undyed so totally unique. Women artisans hand card and spin the fibres in the traditional way. Woven on hand looms and hand knotted to create an intricate tassel detail, each throw takes over one month to produce and gives employment to women artisans helping to preserve traditional crafts. Available in two beautiful natural colours that vary from piece to piece. Drape it over your favourite chair or wear if as an elegant shawl. The Life mark features on a stylish small bronze tag.
